This place has gotten me through a lot. Having a place to be able to react or just be is important.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
All my vibes to you and your husband, Connie. And seconding what everyone said about lymphoma. It's a sort of cancer version of a black bear -- terrifying looking, but capable of being treed and utterly thwarted by a cat chemo.
Rage and swear and panic all you need to to get through it.
Connie, my dad went through chemo for lymphoma. If you'd like to email me about it or contact me to set up a Skype session, I'll be happy to discuss his experience with chemo and whatnot. ETA: profile addy good.
Connie, fuck cancer. And you don't have to be strong here, we can be strong for you.
bonny - can you pre emptively contact Animal Control to let them know about what is going on your side of the situation in case they don't contact you?
I hate telling meat people these sorts of things, because they gush at me in my personal space and I have to deal with their dramatic reactions in real time instead of being able to make announcements and then retreat into the shadows for a couple of minutes while the reaction takes place and then settles. And then I have to reassure *them* that I'm coping etc.
God, Connie, I remember that so well from my mom. Having this place where I didn't have to put up a front or soothe other peoples emotions was such a gift.
And I'm very sorry it's needed, but so glad we're here to give you the same thing when you need it. I'm relieved to hear from those more knowledgable and really really hope for the possible outcome for you two.
Connie, just want to echo what others said above. So sorry. Hope this can be a safe space for whatever you need.
Feel free to fall apart spectacularly, Connie!
Wishing for the best outcomes for your hubby Connie. And all the -ma for both of you.
Ugh, yeah, Connie that sucks ass. Wishing easy treatment and recovery for your husband and strength for you to get through it all.
