'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I hate telling meat people these sorts of things, because they gush at me in my personal space and I have to deal with their dramatic reactions in real time instead of being able to make announcements and then retreat into the shadows for a couple of minutes while the reaction takes place and then settles. And then I have to reassure *them* that I'm coping etc.

God, Connie, I remember that so well from my mom. Having this place where I didn't have to put up a front or soothe other peoples emotions was such a gift.

And I'm very sorry it's needed, but so glad we're here to give you the same thing when you need it. I'm relieved to hear from those more knowledgable and really really hope for the possible outcome for you two.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Connie, just want to echo what others said above. So sorry. Hope this can be a safe space for whatever you need.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Feel free to fall apart spectacularly, Connie!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yup. On top of everything else, you have to manage *their* emotions.

Our wings are not tired.

waves weakly

Much ~ma all round for Sean, and Connie's hubby, and all in need.

Terrifying health stuff happening here. In the middle of the night last Sunday I suffered a massive seizure. They released me from the hospital yesterday. I think. My mind is still very fuzzy. Got a bunch of bruises and my tongue is bit up pretty good. Best guess on cause is my overwhelming life. Too much going on and burning the candle at both ends caught up with me.

Trying to do my research to decide how to proceed. I'm not keen on the idea of taking medication. All the tests came back negative so I don't have an obvious brain issue of some kind. Just scared and upset about burdening my family.

Laura! How scary. I'm glad you're doing better.
