We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, Nora, I'm sorry.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Nora, I saw that. FFS. If you do get involved organizing a benefit, let me know.

In tangentially related news, I am thinking about mentoring a kid; there are some programs locally. Not sure I'm ready for that responsibility, but it seems one of the best ways to make some small difference.

Oh hi, yeah I'm fine. Xpost. I was still asleep at the time of the shooting, honestly.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

My mother wants to meet in New York for my birthday. She's making a big deal about celebrating my birthday (she basically ignored my last birthday, except wanting to know the next time that I was going to be in DC so she could take me out) I don't know why I should make an effort for something that's supposedly for me. Of course, she says we don't have to do it if I don't want to, but the repercussions are a pain. The crap of "I tried to do something nice for you . . ."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My wonderful people, I wish there were magic words to send hearts' ease to all of you who are hurting, frazzled, depressed, doubting or otherwise in want or need.

sj, I hope your mom's knee is all better soon.

Nora, I am very sorry about your friend.

Cass, What rotten timing for horse play. I'm glad your sister is accepting the consequences of not teaching her son a little more consistently.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I need to go to bed, so I can get up and go to work to earn the money I need to pay my rent...but I have a bad case of the "Don't Wanna!"s.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sanity check: Do I strike anyone here as a hold digging, manipulative bitch?
