Total Monday.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I have internet access.
I am spending the afternoon keeping a sedation-stoned kitty from falling up the stairs. Sammie had her teeth cleaned, no big deal. But her hind legs seem to be on a three-second delay. She went to the litter box and utterly failed to get in it. She was sooooo cute, trying, though. Hard to be mad at having to clean up after such an adorable drunk.
Did you all lose internet service too?
To be clear, this was a "Is that why you've all disappeared?" rather than a "Down for Everyone or Just Me?" question. Either way, nice to see you all.
How's post-season baseball, Suzi? I no longer recall. (No, not still holding on to grudges from the Great Gutting of '99, really, I'm not).
Hey Laura, good news - 6:00 your time, Monday's nearly a thing of the past - yay! (Dana 6:00 is just up ahead, just keep swimming, just keep swimming!)
WS, if my Ember was 1/10 as sweet as your Sammie seems to be, I wouldn't mind the messes half so much. Always funny watching them try, but not succeed, to coordinate all 4 legs. Poor high kitty.

Thank you for seeing it. Sammie is a little sweetie, but because she gets so overwhelmed and scared, some people think she fits the aloof, unloving cat stereotype.
Amy, I'm sorry.
Definitely a Monday. Urgh.
Poor Sammie. I would not be above recording my cats' attempts at walking around, though, for future "This is why I will not kill them when they rampage across my head at 4 in the morning purposes".
Also very Monday here.
Dangit, y'all's Mondays are contagious. Work, while being definitely Monday, wasn't overwhelmingly so. However, now my trusty old truck doesn't feel like starting - I'm leaning toward starter, but could also be battery or alternator. Makes me mad 'cause I took it easy and mostly stayed in all weekend - it should be rested, not troublesome! Hmmph, guess I should be grateful that it went down when I could stay all close to home, not on one of my rare road trips. But now the logistics of getting around town for the next day or so while it's in the shop - San Diego public transit doesn't bear thinking of - thank goodness for local parents and friends.
Does it go "tick-tick-tick" when you try to start it? Then it's probably the starter.
Total Monday. I'm still working. Urgh.
And thank you for being there last week when I found myself unexpectedly unable to deal with our anniversary. It made me feel less alone, and I love you all for it.
