Tim is a little sad he's not marrying a deadbeat, though.
He is supposed to be making an honest woman of you. Self-sufficient is not a part of that. Please make sure you're barefoot as much as possible to salve his ego.
The really complicated one rejected me pretty quickly, which hurt my ego, but I expected it
Fair enough, on all parts. Good onya for AMA, though! Way legit.
Who hoo! Now what can you do? Enjoy your wedding!
Yay Teppy!
erin, that sounds awful! I hope you feel better soon, and it's not anything awful or complicated.
Teppy is officially having a GREAT week! Go Teppy!
I hope a good solution is found soon, e_o. Good sleep is such a wonderful thing.
Go non-deadbeat Teppy! I'm on a number of AMA mailing lists. When I read my email I shall assume they are Teppy edited.
"There's just a few more hours, until she ties the knot. A few more hours, that's all the time she's got!"
I sang "I'm Getting Married in the Morning" as I left work the day before my wedding. I got scolded for being disruptive. It came out a few months later that my giddiness made some people feel bad, ie jealous. Apparently a heathen (non-Mormon) girl getting married out of joy, instead of "having to", played hob with their worldviews.

Did you fantasize about singing "Take This Job And Shove It" on your way out the door the next time?
No, it was a job where I normally didn't have to talk to any of them, so I ignored them.

Cripes. That reminds me of a time a few years back when my boss told us we had to stop having potlucks and bringing treats in because it was "exclusionary". (It wasn't her issue, but another department head who was bitching, even though we always invited everyone on the floor to come and grab some.)
Oh, my current job has the "exclusionary" thing. The QA department was doing Waffle Wednesday, where they'd use the kitchen in the break room to make waffles for themselves. Apparently some of the people in my department whined about not getting any. The QA department was also told they could no longer have their own fridge and microwave in their suite. QA can get a little testy with the rest of us.
