Big stop just to renew your license to companion. Can I use companion as a verb?

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There's just a few more hours, until she ties the knot. A few more hours, that's all the time she's got!"

I sang "I'm Getting Married in the Morning" as I left work the day before my wedding. I got scolded for being disruptive. It came out a few months later that my giddiness made some people feel bad, ie jealous. Apparently a heathen (non-Mormon) girl getting married out of joy, instead of "having to", played hob with their worldviews.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Did you fantasize about singing "Take This Job And Shove It" on your way out the door the next time?

No, it was a job where I normally didn't have to talk to any of them, so I ignored them.

Cripes. That reminds me of a time a few years back when my boss told us we had to stop having potlucks and bringing treats in because it was "exclusionary". (It wasn't her issue, but another department head who was bitching, even though we always invited everyone on the floor to come and grab some.)

Oh, my current job has the "exclusionary" thing. The QA department was doing Waffle Wednesday, where they'd use the kitchen in the break room to make waffles for themselves. Apparently some of the people in my department whined about not getting any. The QA department was also told they could no longer have their own fridge and microwave in their suite. QA can get a little testy with the rest of us.

Compassionately intolerant

Niki made it out of her surgery...thank God...and is beginning her recovery. Her daughter says the breathing tube should come out soon.

I've been so out of sorts all day, not able to think of much of anything else. Now, I think I can rest...but the prayers won't stop. The woods have not been cleared yet.

But still. She made it.

The status is NOT quo.

Yay, Bonny! Great news! I wish her (and you) well. And Steph, more good news! Congrats!

I kid you not, it sounds like the rats in my attic are playing a full-scale soccer match.

The rodent specialist cannot get here fast enough. (Monday. Just a couple more days.)
