Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Congratulations, Suzi!

How's the Biblical rain treating you?

Plenty of rain the last two days though today has been light. I haven't run into any of the flooded areas but that is only cause I've stayed close to home. It is crazy out there. The pictures of places I've been that are now underwater...the number of people airlifted to safety...the lives lost and the hundreds of people unaccounted for...too much. Some of the hardest hit places are the ones close to last years fires. The burn scar areas just slide into the homes that were saved a year ago.

I was thinking about you and Cody's rescue group. That was some scary water.

TCG was just asking me this morning if CJ had been part of any rescues in the flooded areas.

They haven't been activated. Swift water rescue is a specific set of skills and there are other teams that specialize in that. It was a very quiet search and rescue summer. I think they only had one mountain search and a couple of in town searches.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Go and see the kids, sj. Whatever else happened, I've rarely regretted making that call.

Congrats, Suzi!

Okay, let's talk wedding makeup. Best cry-proof mascara recommendations were Blinc and Diorshow, right?

I do Blinc on my lower lashes and DiorShow Waterproof on the top because even waterproof will eventually smudge on my skin. I ooze makeup remover or something. But the Blinc only comes off with warm water and light pressure, so on the lowers it both doesn't smudge and provides somewhat of a barrier for my upper lashes smudging under my eyes.

I only like the DiorShow and DiorShow Waterproof. The DiorShow Iconic has a different brush and I loathed it. The formula was pretty good but I was never happy because it was the wrong, wrong, wrong brush for me.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Woo! And might I add, Hoo! Suzi, congrats!

Yes, that is my thinking, Cass. Unless I wake up too anxious or in too much pain to drive, I'm going.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congratulations, Suzi!

The status is NOT quo.

What an achievement, Suzi! Congrats!
