I just now got an invite to the family breakfast tomorrow. Do I want to drive over an hour each way to see family after a last minute invite?

The parents I'm pissed at but I would like to see the kids. It is a lot if driving for me and TCG can't go.

I'm going to go because I am a sucker for small children, but it would be nice if once in a while my family took into account the fact that I don't live in RI anymore, and therefore, cannot get to places as easily as they do.

Fwump. Hello buffistas. As noted on Facebook, I got my brown belt today. The test was an intense 4 hours, which is shorter than I expected. I had to wait an hour for my training partner (and ride) to finish her test. Well the adrenaline wore off and, despite being very hydrated, I had severe leg cramps. That was NOT FUN. Came home, ate some trail mix, soaked in the tub and had a quite afternoon. Finally went to the store for food. I sautéed some mushrooms, made a caprese salad and am still hungry.
