Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

Doesn't powdering your lips make them really dry?

It never really bothered me, I guess because it went on between layers of lipstick?

Watching folks describe makeup is like watching arcane rituals of another tribe.

Signed, hasn't worn make up in 30 years.

Our wings are not tired.

I may have worn makeup for my wedding, but I can't find my wedding pictures to check.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Steph, I have a Lipstick Queen lipstick and 2 of their glosses. Not impressed at all. Has the consistency of the Wet 'n' Wild formulation from the '80s. Gross.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Maria,

I am, le n. I started on the 3rd, but that first week was spent in NH for orientation. Getting used to working from home. I love the no commute aspect, but I need to make a concerted effort to get out of the house.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you do, Typo, eat 1/2 one at first and wait an hour. I have had a few that knocked me on my ASS.

When we had our pot party, everyone had that "boring!" reaction to their first brownie other than me, because I found I didn't enjoy eating lawn clippings enough to find out what came next. eta: I only made it 1/2way through.

I ended up leaving the party early, which turned out to be the good call--during the loss of consciousness, but before the puking. I did take one party-goer with me, and so she had a toilet all of her own to puke in while I had a pleasant warm buzz in the comfort of my own home.

Next pot party was pot pasta. Much better flavour combination, and I can't remember *shit* past mincing the garlic.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Getting used to working from home. I love the no commute aspect, but I need to make a concerted effort to get out of the house.

Oh hai. The house, I am in it.
