[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well, don the plate mail, grab the sword, find a Mage and cleric, and roll the dice!

That's what's wrong with my D&D party, our mage is currently a ghost trying to gather enough money through his partner the dwarf to pay for a Resurrect spell.

Sean, make sure you find a live Mage before your adventure.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sean, if you do get offered the job and decide to take it, it doesn't have to be a forever move. Having something like that on your résumé, may help you get a job back in CA someday.

What sj said. And It's perfectly normal to be hesitant about a big move like that, of course you are. Sometimes it helps me to sit with my worry and find what's lurking beneath it - not ruminating, but letting the layers short of shed until the big nugget of worry at the bottom is revealed.

May this be the beginning of something new and fabulous, even if this particular opportunity doesn't work out.

Well our Mother's Day ended with my mother falling in the parking lot of the ice cream shop. I don't think she broke anything, but she scraped up her knee pretty badly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh no, sj! I hope she's okay and just needs to heal some small bruises.

Accidents happen but I would be LIVID. UGH, Cass...!

Frankly, I still pretty much was. But when I saw my sister again today, she said the magic words that she'd cover repairs. And since that same block of keys is not working, I suspect there will be some repairs.

This was after the same nephew took some of the glass from the natural glass fire pit and threw it in the pool. Then lied. Then sassed. This time he got an immediate "get out of the pool" and then she packed them up to go home.

Yesterday I was mad because he kept doing the things he wasn't supposed to be doing but not getting in trouble. Including after he got me and the laptop wet. And it was extra stressful because I was editing my brother's eulogy for my Dad at the time. I don't want him flogged or anything but perhaps consequences? Because I think he got the message today.

I feel bad for my sister. But it happens. If he truly believed that when he was told not to use the water cannons on the adults, it would not be tolerated, he wouldn't have drenched me and the laptop. And I'd have all my keys and wouldn't be using a USB keyboard right now. But he kept shooting at my sister and her phone has a waterproof case so she sounded annoyed but that's all. Hopefully it won't cost her much to fix this.

Ugh, Cass. How frustrating.

Mom had five different scrapes on the same knee, but seems to be ok otherwise. Can I just say grr in-laws! Because I'm too angry and too paranoid to say anything else right now.

Ugh, I'm sorry. When my dad and grandma would fall it was horrifying.

Another person I know here in New Orleans was shot today. I am not doing so good.

(((Nora))) I'm sorry. I was thinking of you when I saw the news. Was it at the parade?
