[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

His friends in the group excuse his behavior and say, "he has a good heart."

There is someone who used to be part of my social circle that had that excuse made about him for AGES, including by me. And then guess what? I got burned by his behavior, too, because I'm a moron. But he's since been ostracized, and people in the larger social circle are close to ostracizing him, too.

The status is NOT quo.

Wow. Stay classy, client.

I recently had to cut someone "with a good heart" off. She keeps coming back. It's fucking delightful.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Trudes, she has not said ONE thing to me. I don't know whether to be insulted or incredibly grateful.

I need hivemind help.

We are gearing up for the annual Search and Rescue Silent Auction for CJ's team. One of the things we want to do this year is add a few items that are basically just for the team members. So I'm trying to brainstorm some fun ideas that don't relate to things the team members need to earn on their own. Right now I have 1) First in line for the buffet at the holiday party (normally team members have to wait until everyone else has gone through before they can fill a plate) and 2) Chief staff details your car (after any mission, the ARP vehicles have to be cleaned before the team is excused).

But now I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Are there prime schedule spots? Maybe first pick of schedules, or your choice of weekends off?

Good idea, but they are on call 24/7. Though maybe I can do something with that and Fire ridealong scheduling. Hmmmmmm.

Spark my imagination people! (I'm ignoring work for a bit cause I'm in a red hot rage over a project I'm working on, so I need to step away for a few).

Go with the latter.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Dunno what kind of equipment y'all have but round here folks go gaga over " cruises" (an hour or so jaunt on the river ) on one of the fire boats. Those get better bids than any other donations for our auctions. What do they value? My coworkers would kill for priority bidding for vacation days or and extra vacation slot opening....

Question for Mathematicas. Years ago I seem to remember reading that multi-value logic (n-valued logic where n> 2) is less powerful that 2 valued logic. Professor Google gives me no joy on this. Am I misremembering? Or am I just using the wrong search terms?
