Whee! Tipsy!

I think I did interviews for the DBT group I was in. It's been a while, though.

I think I pulled a rib muscle. Very mild discomfort until I move in certain ways or take a deep breath or poke the area. Even then it's not particularly painful, just more discomfort, where one boob is attached to my body, sort of where an underwire goes. Last week I started doing some qi gong exercises. I have not really been sore from that, but yesterday I was feeling really achy all over and made myself do the exercises again. I was thinking the movement would make me feel better. It didn't. Now with the addition of post nasal drip, congestion and sore throat, the body ache was viral in origin and the rib muscle thing is a result of pushing when I should have just stayed in bed.

I am tipsy on prosecco!

I am tipsy from one dang pint of cider. I don't drink a lot anymore, but usually 1 pint doesn't make me tipsy, just kind of...slightly fuzzy edges. But then I remembered (after I finished the pint, of course), that I'm on antibiotics, so that's probably a factor. Oooops.

Two people in my improv class handed out Valentines -- one woman MADE sushi Valentines (out of craft paper, to be clear; they weren't actual edible sushi, which is a damn shame) and one guy found 80s music-themed Valentines (mine is David Byrne and it says "My heart Byrnes for you").

Y'all have NO IDEA how many typos I just corrected. After only 1 lousy pint. Sheesh.

So, like, you guys. My roommate and I have been getting along better, mostly because I don't ask for anything. This evening, without even a heads up, he has a friend over and proceeds to play a table top game in the dining area and then puts on a movie. I was working on an estimate* when they got there, and he just assumed I would be the judge in their game. And now they are watching Casino Royale in the living room.

I *told* him earlier today that this week is crazy craft crunch time** for me. That means I need a flat expanse to work on. I'm going to have to talk to him - didn't want to do it in front of his friend. UGGGGH why is he so damn inconsiderate? This especially grates after that whole thing where he didn't want me to have 6 people over with THREE WEEKS NOTICE because it was a week night and we "need to respect each other's down time".

UGGH.

* You guys I just sent off my first real job estimate for someone who isn't a friend. BLARGH. Current boss reviewed it for me and gave me some suggestions. I feel like I'm asking too much (boss thinks I'm asking too little). BLARGH. Can I have some "accept the quote" ~ma?

** Okay, I ended up not really having much time to craft tonight, but I could have done a little something. I'm not going to have any throws for Saturday, ISTG. I have all day off Friday, so I will just be in a frenzy trying to finish throws and my costume. Tomorrow we have practice and Thursday I have another networking thing.

Sorry roommate continues to suck.

Ow. I'm hurting, a lot, and I really wish that I could stay home tomorrow, but I can't, because I have work to do that requires my tablet, which I left at the office. And trying to work through pain fog is not going to be fun.
