[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The silica sand (i.e. the most expensive litter on Earth) is the only thing that does not cause our persnickety female cat to pee in the bathtub. We have tried all other litters and they are JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER TENDER PAWS.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, glad to have the info ... and, since I don't have a cat, it's not something that directly affects me, but I'd hate for anyone's cat to be hurt by the stuff.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My cat Leo definitely has a favorite litter and it's Arm&Hammer unscented. I've been trying to find a low-dust litter, but even the ones that claim to be low dust throw dust in the air. I'd rather they didn't breathe it into their little lungs.

I tried a "natural" litter (aren't they all basically natural?) called SWheat Scoop that's made from wheat... stalks, I guess, idk... it was bad. Bugs appeared. I never had bugs in kitty litter, ever, except when using that stuff.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Back from the dentist. Now I have some pressing work that rolled in while I was in the dentist's chair. But I will by god get a nap before my improv class.

Thrive to spite them

I usually use Tidy Cat crystal cat litter. But when I ahd the freak out about Penny's health I set up a second litter box with other litter that she likes better. I don't like it as much but I'm trying to keep the kitty-human peace.

Teppy, definitely take that nap. You've earned it and your body needs to heal.

My sun basket order is in. Bad planning on my part to order on a week when none of ltc's grandparents are here. Means I have to lift it into the house myself.

Costco used to have great stuff, but they changed brands and it got a lot dustier. Oz occasionally wheezes, which I worry is from litter dust. He actually came to me with a sawdust based litter, and my plan was to transition my other cat to that. But Oz started using the clay litter and neither of them would have anything to do with the sawdust litter.

I have nothing to add to the kitty litter conversation.

You're not planning to litter box train ltc?

Nope, and I'm still allergic to cats. So, she's not getting any pets either.
