Glad it went well, Steph!
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Bah. Therapist cancelled for tomorrow. She has bronchitis and sounded awful. So, it's a legitimate reason to cancel, but it's only my second appointment, which sucks.
Sorry to hear that sj.
Mom is going out if town tomorrow and Dad is coming up for part if it. I thought it was for the while thing but I heard from Mom that he's not because my brother said his gf and me will help.
This is news to me. Especially since I did text and ask about this. Because I need to know so I can adjust to this but I have a feeling since mom drops everything to help that I'll do the same. I want to bit I don't want to find out the night or day of I need to get E from school, to his stuff and get dinner for him and get him to bed.
The date went pretty well, I think. We talked about sci-fi things and history and math. He asked what I was reading, and I told him that I was reading a book by Reza Aslan, and he knew who Reza Aslan is. He asked about my ankle, and I explained, and he didn't seem too freaked out.
Really glad it went well Hil.
Finally heard from my brother they need me to pick up, do homework and drop off E tomorrow and Tuesday. Which I can handle.
Ugh. I walked too much today. Ow. I'm definitely going to have to use my walker tomorrow. Just looking at my ankle, I can see a lump where it's swollen. Last week, when I was teaching at Refugee Resettlement, I had to leave early because I was hurting too much. But I was trying to get by without my walker then, when I probably should have been using it.
That's rough, Hil.
I just emailed the volunteer coordinator to tell her I won't be in. My students have an exam on Friday, which means I'll be on my feet for a long time and then grading for a long time, and I'm going to need some rest.
I'm sorry, Hil. Feel better.
I remember when ltc was born someone here said as soon as you think you have a baby figured out, they move the goal post. So true! For the past couple of weeks ltc has been waking at 6ish, having milk, and then going to sleep til 8ish either giving me more time to sleep or read or journal. Today she was up at 6:30 and refused to go back to sleep after her milk. Despite being exhausted. I'm going to try to put her back down now for a morning nap because she is a crank monster. Wish me luck.
Feel better Hil.
sj I hope ltc naps and the crank is tamed.
So turns out the doctor I saw....not my regular...only ordered a basic diabetes test and no test for b 12 . I got more blood work done.
And I got pumpkin spice Cheerios.
