True, and we sent people home with things and we have so.much.food. Seriously, who wants to visit? We have a ton of baked ziti, pizza, spinach pies, etc.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And David, is it too late to wish you luck with your presentation? Because it sounds awesome and they'd be stupid to let the opportunity pass by.
Not too late! We're still trying to nail down a date but it does look like it will happen.
Wow, if I could teleport, I would. Seriously, a friend of my brother didn't feed people at his wedding and we still joke about years later.(Not as much as his family, probably.) Cool beans, Hec!
Sj can you freeze anything?
Have an appointment today for Penny. Mom thinks I'm over reacting but I haven't seen any indication of her peeing yesterday or this morning in her litterbox . She doesn't seem as lethargic but if I don't take her in I'm going to fixate on this. I think Mom is being reassuring or maybe she's thinking I can't really afford the vet bill but I wish she'd just say it's a good idea to take her in at least for a check up and peace of mind. Instead of you know they'll want her to have shots.
askye, yes. We froze all of the lemon chicken, lots of rolls, and some of the pizza and spinach pies. We even froze some birthday cake. We mostly have things left that won't freeze well. Some baked ziti, pasta marinara, crackers, hummus, baba ganoush, lentil salad, etc. Oh, and I didn't freeze Papa's eggplant parm because nom nom nom.
Okay, I'm posting this here to be accountable: I am going to look for and actually contact potential therapists today. (I don't remember if I said that the one I found was not taking new patients, but she isn't, and then I fell down on the job looking further.)
Steph good luck also it was easier for me to use email. I felt like it was some kind of cop out but it was less stressful .
Yeah, I emailed the first one. That was handy.
askye, if you have reason to believe that Penny has not been able to pass urine, I would say it is urgent that she get to the vet. Even if she is peeing, but just not in the litter box, well, the first step to unraveling inappropriate urination problems is a trip to the veterinarian, anyway. If she is truly blocked up OR so dehydrated that she simply has nothing in her bladder, she needs veterinary attention sooner rather than later.
I set up all my appointment with my therapist, including the initial, via email. So much less stressful.
