Me too. Unfortunately, I can't start them tonight. TCG will be in late from his meeting, and then we have to be up early for the funeral tomorrow, so I don't want to take anything that may cause stomach badness or weird sleep tonight.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, I almost got to sleep. Then I sneezed and dislocated a rib, and when I stood up to make it easier to get it back in place, I twisted my ankle (because I hadn't put my sleep brace on my ankle, because it had been feeling mostly OK.) Ow. I guess I'm awake for a while longer. Maybe I'll catch some more Pokemon.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, Hil. I hope you were able to get comfortable enough to sleep.

Wishes for a peaceful day, sj.

I hope today is a better day, Hil.

sj, may the medication changes help you feel better soon.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Man, I feel guilty when I'm SO READY to go home at the end of vacation. I love Tim's family, but 15 adults and 4 very loud children in one duplex for a week is A LOT OF PEOPLE. I work alone at home, no kids, just Tim at the end of the day. That's a serious jump from 2 people to 19.

And I miss my dog. Also, "leftover night" (which is a good idea to empty the fridge, don't get me wrong) is not tenable for someone who can't eat pizza/pasta/sandwiches. For some reason Tim is taken aback that I won't just smile and eat ONLY baby carrots for dinner. Hell no, son. I have a car and money and the wherewithal to obtain sushi, so you just enjoy your 3-day-old pizza.

Seriously, it's been super nice all week, so I have no real complaints; I'm just bumping up against the limits of Too Much Togetherness.

SING IT!!!

I'm expecting to be where you are this time two weeks from now after spending week in Maine with friends and their kids.

Good for you, Teppy!

It's been a long day and so hot. We're still at the sympathy dinner. I want to hide.

Home now. Luckily we had to get Mom back to our house so she could get home. So, we had an excuse to leave. The funeral, cemetery, and mercy dinner were nowhere near each other. So by the time we got to the mercy dinner ltc was cranky and hungry and do was momma. I should have brought snacks and cold drinks. We have another big family dinner tomorrow night, but at least I'm home for a night with a cuppa and hopefully a nap in my future.

Apparently I bought a "few" things on prime day when I was more than a little depressed. At least I had birthday money to spend, I guess.
