I am adulting like a mofo today. I went to Awesome Doctor to deal with my unending IBS, and once my insurance approves it, I have a new medication to try (fingers crossed it works [I missed seeing Hillary Clinton AND Elizabeth Warren for this doctor's appointment, so the drug had BETTER work]). And then I made an appointment to get 2 freaking crowns on my crappy teeth. And I also need to go pick out frames for my bifocals before Friday, because our insurance changes on Friday.

That's a lot of damn money, too. I can't remember what dollar amount I need to hit in order for it to be worthwhile to itemize medical expenses, but I'ma start saving all my receipts.

My doctor's visit last week to discuss my sleep issues resulted in no real new information. I snore but do not have sleep apnea. We are checking my thyroid levels again. And I will be getting a referral to a sleep doctor to do a more formal sleep study. So, I'm waiting for the referral.

Is there a way to see exactly what someone who I'm not friends with sees when they look at my facebook page?

Yes -- on your page, in the bottom right of the cover photo is a box that says, "Update Info," then a box that says, "View Activity Log," and then a box with 3 dots. Click the box with 3 dots and there should be a dropdown menu with an option for "View as..."

If you click "View as..." it should show you what your page looks like to the public (non-friends).

The majority of my family are racists and I don't have any communication with them anymore. There's nothing they could give me that would make it worth listening to their vile hateful talk. And they call themselves Christians.

Glad you don't have apnea, but sorry you don't have an answer. My sleep study showed I have severe sleep apnea, which is a little scary. Still haven't gotten the CPAP machine yet.

So my new manager emailed me today with, we need to talk, and I was all OH GREAT HERE WE GO. So we talked. And we worked out a confusing thing and solved each other's problems and communicated effectively. I'm stunned.

They said something to TCG about something I posted on Facebook while I was hiding in the bathroom. Which is apparently why I was being "tested"? I'm feeling very paranoid at the moment.
