Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sadly, the lesson I got from it is less "happy and respectful reconciliation" and more "You can live without more people than you might believe possible." but I still don't think I would take it back.

The majority of my family are racists and I don't have any communication with them anymore. There's nothing they could give me that would make it worth listening to their vile hateful talk. And they call themselves Christians.

My doctor's visit last week to discuss my sleep issues resulted in no real new information. I snore but do not have sleep apnea.

Glad you don't have apnea, but sorry you don't have an answer. My sleep study showed I have severe sleep apnea, which is a little scary. Still haven't gotten the CPAP machine yet.

Good luck with the new drugs, Steph!

So my new manager emailed me today with, we need to talk, and I was all OH GREAT HERE WE GO. So we talked. And we worked out a confusing thing and solved each other's problems and communicated effectively. I'm stunned.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

They said something to TCG about something I posted on Facebook while I was hiding in the bathroom. Which is apparently why I was being "tested"? I'm feeling very paranoid at the moment.

Whaaaaaat? I don't even understand that.

Another in-law got aggravated at a response I posted on someone else's facebook page the other day, which I guess is something I don't really think about people seeing. Maybe I just need to take an online break, except it is the only interaction I have with adults some days.

No. Their reaction is their responsibility. They can be aggravated, but what you post/comment on other posts is NOT ABOUT THEM.

Because I'm that crazy leftie liberal that everyone warned them about? I dunno really. I wouldn't even be talking to them at the moment after everything that went down a few years back except for ltc.

I'm stuck on the "testing" thing. Did they actually say they were "testing" you? For what? And what the fuck gives them the right?

Something about just testing me to see where I stood. Like I said I don't know. We've been getting along fine since ltc was born, and I don't know why they would specifically try to wreck that.

brillig

Still haven't gotten the CPAP machine yet.

If your insurance is balking, you can find CPAPs on eBay and the manuals are easy to find. That's how my doctor got me on one years ago when ponying up the $1500 co-pay for a sleep study was not-doable.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I'm sputtering in anger on your behalf, sj. That is some kinda bullshit from supposed adults.
