TCG is also in the chalk teeth club. He broke a tooth the other day on a peach.
That's one hell of a peach!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yeah, he's getting it fixed tomorrow.
I broke a tooth eating some fluffy rice, but a peach...that takes talent.
I'm in the office. We have a campus of 4 buildings and they are repaving the parking lot section by section - right now, the area under construction is the lot that is for 2 of the buildings. I'm glad I got here early because there isn't a lot of alternate parking areas.
Damn. TCG didn't get either job he recently applied for. The most recent one he found out about because of a public announcement of who the new hire is.
Maybe J. Alfred Prufrock had chalk teeth.
ltc took a three hour nap this morning! I slept for the last couple of hours of that, and we're both in much better moods as a result. Although, I still need all the tea or someone to deliver me a latte.
So, I finally finished watching the Tony's. And it got to best play, and I was like, "I know that name." So I googled, and I knew none of the other plays he had written, but, there, at the bottom of a bio, it said that he went to my college. Which gave me a hunch, and, sure enough, he wrote the student musical my freshman year, which I worked on, and have the soundtrack and the script is probably somewhere in storage. I guess I'll have to listen to that, soon.
And, I was even wearing my college shirt today, since it covers up most of the dye stains from my fancy-hair-making yesterday.
I, somewhere, still have the soundrack (on cassette!) from the student musical at said college about 10 years earlier; mostly because one of my housemates wrote it that year.
(Also, I'm'a have to go have stern words with all the college social media which was all over Daveed's win and never mentioned that one!)
I found out that a high school buddy, who became a math teacher and ended up teaching at our old high school, taught Daveed back in the day. Fricking small world y'all.
Today I have provided emotional support to:
This in addition to missing work for a nasty caterpillar sting and spending time in Urgent Care and being on Benadryl. In addition to my sister being still very suicidal. In addition to hurting over Orlando and NONE of my blood family reaching out to me about it.
And I'm okay. And I'm still taking care of myself, though I have to be careful to continue to do that.
I marvel how far I have come in thirteen years, and I couldn't have done it without the emotional support of you Bitches. Truly. I can help others because I know help is there when I need it. And I, in turn, got help and support from my friends.
I know I'm not here that often, and I lurk more than I post, but I want to tell y'all how very much I love you and appreciate all the mental, emotional, physical, and fiscal support over the years.
WE IN THE SHIT NOW, SOMEBODY'S GOTTA SHOVEL IT.
Thanks for helping me shovel my shit and being willing to shovel your own.
