Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And Sean, what they all said about the job. You'll find stuff about Atlanta to love. Aside from the 50K and the bennies!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Usually the balling up issue is caused by the top thread not being threaded right, a small piece of thread caught in the feed dogs from previous problems, or the bobbin thread going in the wrong direction. You could also try switching needles.

Our wings are not tired.

Marking Sophia's post for the next time this happens to me...

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Hello! Long time no see. Sorry for the dark grey. I'm about 2,000 posts behind in the old thread. Yikes. Miss y'all.

Sleep and health ~ma to everyone, and Sean, I'll add my voice to those who say a 50K job in Atlanta with full bennies beats being broke in LA, no contest.

Wait, what? I missed something good. I know nothing about the job except what is above. Dude. $50k in Atlanta will go a lot farthur than in LA! A little verklempt. I mean. If anyone deserves good paying job, it's you! But, then you'd be leaving LA. And I don't get to see ya enough as it is! Must dig thru old bitches and find details.

Hair pats/hugs/high fives to everyone else for all that I missed.

I finally got new bed, with new memory foam mattress. I'm down to about 6-8 boxes from moving. They are clutter and pictures/theater programs stuff. Not really an unpack thing. Getting there. Coming up on a year since I got keys, and 8 months since I could unpack from the hole-in-floor construction crap.

Mext week I have Date #2 with the dinner with 6 folks. We shall see if any of these ladies strike a fancy. Either way, it's the last of the contract. And given how crappy the service has been, and how pricey, I'm not going to renew the contract.

Other than that. Super lazy day today. Past few weeks have been exhausting. No me-time. Must decompress. Plus, legs and arms are a bit on the achey side. So. Catching up on TiVo.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I keep telling myself that you left and came back, o_a. Still, if this is such a no-brainer, why is it weighing so heavy on me, and it's not even a real offer yet?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Still, if this is such a no-brainer, why is it weighing so heavy on me, and it's not even a real offer yet?

Dude, don't trust your heart. If you get the offer, let your brain make the call.

Seriously, I think some time in Atlanta could be the best thing that ever happened to you.

And omnis himself can tell you that such gigs do not necessarily turn out to be permanent relocations. It would be great for you to have a job like that on your resume, get some stability, and be able to parlay that into something else. Possibly somewhere else.

But don't be resistant to change - because you really need to change your life.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Racing fans of Bitches, I had an awesome conversation with one of the guys at the house I was working at today. The fellow does not speak clearly, it is hard to understand him. I usually repeat what I think I hear so that he can confirm if I got him. Sometimes I have to try several times to get a single sentence. But he thinks Danika is great (maybe not quite as awesome as Junior) and thinks that there should be more girls in racing. "Someday", he said. Someday there will be just as many girls as guys. Smart fellow, even if his mom and me are the only people who really know how smart he is.

So what, exactly, does one do with fresh mozzarella? Besides eat it like an apple, I mean. Why, yes, I did give in to some odd impulses while at a Super Target today. Why do you ask?

Also, you know you are tired when you get the cat food and the orange juice out of the fridge and put the oj next to the cat dishes and the cat food next to your juice glass.

My appetite is behaving oddly. Another purchase I made was a jar of Nutella. And I keep wanting to spread it on things rather than eat it straight from the jar.

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

So what, exactly, does one do with fresh mozzarella?

Cut it into slices. Cut tomato into slices. Put mozzarella slices on tomato slices. Optional but HIGHLY recommended: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, salt, pepper to taste.

Then nom as needed.
