Willow: Yes. Hi. You must be Angel's handsome, yet androgynous, son. Connor: It's Connor. Willow: And the sneer's genetic. Who knew?

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

That's pretty damn adorable.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

P-C, that is sweet.

quester, I can see how that would be kind of unsettling.

At the airport, going to the beach. This vacation brought to me by the baby boomer generation: still paying for shit because the kids can't. Why yes, I've got some guilt and shame around that. But not enough to stay in NOLA all summer without a break.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Even if this doesn't work out, at least somewhere deep in my psyche will have to reside the proof that it is, in fact, possible for a girl to like me. Like, in that romantic comedy way where she doesn't even know it and isn't sure if I like her too and when she makes a list of characteristics she's looking for in a guy and her friend suggests me she says I'm the best but she doesn't know, she thinks we're just friends.

This is all so weird and new.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Very sweet, P-C

Also very sweet are Pix, ND, cousin Chloe, and the animal contingent. They put us up last night and I wish we all had time for more of a visit. Thanks again. My buddy K is still a bit amazed at my b.org friends. I'll have to loan her Allyson's book when we get home.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll have to loan her Allyson's book when we get home.

It's like a user manual for online community, isn't it?

PC, that's lovely.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

It was so great to see you, Suzi, albeit briefly! Hope you slept well. Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye this morning.

Coffee (which I need desperately):

I got up first thing to drive the adorable puppy we are fostering to the vet in Malibu to get spayed. On the way there, she pooped ALL over the inside of the crate. I stopped to try to clean the crate out, and the side of the road was infested with ants, which proceeded to climb all over both me and the pup. I drove a round trip of 2+ hours with poop and ants. And that is why we call it charity work!

Ack.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just called CVS to deal with some prescription issues (for all their commercials about how you can get your prescriptions anywhere, it is an enormous pain when you want to switch back to getting them at your usual pharmacy once vacation is over), and they didn't ask for my name, just my date of birth. I guess I'm the only person with that birth date to get prescriptions at this CVS?

Or they recognise you somehow else but need you to still do the security dance. Wouldn't the birthday problem apply here?

What CVS doesn't make clear is that you can only move a prescription x number of times, where x is an odd number. Well, that was true when I used to go there. Walgreens has not capped me yet for switching between near work and home and that other one.
