I remember Malaprops! It's been years since I've been to Ashville. I'm so glad it's still open.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Malaprops is not just open, but bustling and thriving and all the things you want a great bookstore to be. Always a pleasure to drop in there and lose half a day.
This was my first trip and it was a spontaneous post therapy decompression thing but I'm going back. I wish it were closer because they have Trader Joe's...well I could get non perishable stuff. I think it's almost an hour to certain parts. With the weather so nice I may go next week and explore more.
Yesterday I missed a fraud text alert about someone using my card at Target. Since I didn't I texted No. In the light if day I realized I don't have a card ending on those numbers so that was a relief but I also had to call and notify someone text a less for a card were going to the wrong number.
I'm having a good day. It's 70 here and the sun in shining. Mom is here, and she stayed with ltc while I went to get a coffee and bring back lunch for us. She found my fitbit while I was gone, and now I'm setting it up while she takes ltc for a walk. I love my baby girl, but I really needed a little break for her. Parenting an extrovert when you're an introvert is tricky sometimes.
That's great, sj.
Thanks, Liese. I set up the Fitbit and connected it to my weight watchers account which made me happier than it should.
Yay, sj!
I'm glad you have your mom available to help out every once in a while.
If she lived closer she'd probably stop by all the time, but with the 90 minute drive she usually comes once a week and sometimes stays overnight. Which she is tonight because for some reason I'm having a family gathering on Sunday and the house needs cleaning. I've been lucky that there hasn't been much snow this winter because she doesn't like driving in snow.
I'm not going to say that today was a turning point but I had a good day. Including playing with E - with bubbles and a water gun (he let me shoot him and he used lids from pots as sheilds) and then we went to the creek and played pooh sticks.
He was begging for me to take him to rock climbing (they had a half day) but Mom was running behind and i dnd't have shoes or my purse or keys. I'm looking forward to Friday and spending time with him.
And I've cooked two nights in row. Makes me feel cautiously hopeful
Aloe vera oil can be good, but if you put on too much you can feel little fibers in it.
