It was 71 or 72 here today, and man, it was glorious.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It may hit 70 later this week. It's supposed to snow next week.
Well, I slept another four hours this afternoon. But I'm feeling somewhat better now. I definitely needed this day off. Even if catching my classes up to schedule is going to be a royal pain.
Sounds like you really needed it, Hil. Glad you got some good rest.
I ran a little today. For the first time in a long time. Just to see if I still could. Answer: I kind of can't. Was more like, slow jog for 50 feet stop and breathe slow jog stop and breathe walk a little. Didn't even go half a mile I don't think. But I did it, and that's more than I've been doing, so I guess it's a start.
Askye, next time you're going to be in Asheville, check if Malaprop's bookstore is still there. It's a fabulous den of wonders--and they have a cafe. Safe haven for hours--plus you get to people watch without being rude.
I'm glad the CAT scan was okay.
Dana, I'm sorry. Fidiots.
And sara, I'm sorry about the delay in your situation, too.
Back~ma, Zen. And if there's such a thing, yes, *gentle* running.
I'm envious of the stars in Chile, meara.
And I'm all in favor of less pain, in general, and in specific for Hil.
I shove mine behind me while I'm in the recliner, and kinda wiggle.
I am 12.
That pre-travel, pre-time-off-work stress it hitting. Way too much to do and not near enough time. Add in Prednisone and I'm a pile of fun.
I checked and they are ! There's a used bookst ore I want to check out.
Looks like Malaprop's now offers delivery down town of any book in stock or orders that are in.
Thanks, everyone. Tomorrow is a relatively light day for me -- just office hours in the morning, and some grading to finish up, and prepping classes for Thursday, but no teaching -- so I'll be able to rest somewhat, and then I think I'll be OK for teaching on Thursday.
Good, Hil. I hope it goes that way for you.
Malaprop's used to have a used book section, too. Man, I miss Asheville. Just go down the hill if you have time, and pat the rock wall of the civic center for me, would you? Have you checked out All Souls Crescent? If you do, smile at the Eastern Music Store for me, if it's still there, and the New Morning Gallery.
