Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I make it with melted butter instead of the oil it calls for.

Yeeeeesssss.

now I want cornbread

me too

Icy sidewalks and unstable joints are a really bad combination. I didn't fall, but my ankles and knees are seriously not happy with me.

I'm glad you didn't fall, Hil. Isn't there anything that could help with that rather scary situation? Seems like there ought to be.

hip deep in pie

I also always use a rice cooker. Also keeps a burner free on the stove.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, everyone. I just realized that I have a multipot still in the box with a rice cooker function. I think I'll try that next time before I invest in another thing we don't have room for in our tiny kitchen.

Tea:

It's so cold today and all my joints are mad about it. On the plus side after several attempts, ltc is finally napping, and I'm hoping it lasts for more than 10 minutes.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My new strategy at work is just to bug people until they give me what I need. What is up with people only answering the first question in an email and ignoring the rest? I'm going to start doing that too, since it seems to be protocol.

Thrive to spite them

I went out and was social to a coloring book club thing. I plan on going to dinner next Friday with some of them. It was a little nerve wracking but it was fun.

Fot some reason I haven't been as scared about being judged.

Also I have to go by the bank tomorrow because they keep sending things to my mailing and physical a dress including checks.

Thrive to spite them

Yes I have. I'm still getting used to it but it's nice. In an odd way I think it might help with my anxiety with meeting new people.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ow. Woke up, and everything hurts. And I ran out of pain med. There's a new paper prescription waiting for me at my doctor's office, so I need to go pick that up, then bring it to the pharmacy and get it filled, but just getting up off the couch right now feels like it will use up most of my spoons.

Very glad I don't have to be at work today. No classes or office hours today, and I had some stuff that I was going to do at the office, but it can all be done at home or on Monday.
