I have no opinion about brows. I DO have opinions about expensive but oh-so-worth-it flip flops. I love love love my Sanuks. They're made out of the same material as yoga mats, and a $45 pair will easily last me a year or two.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
I actually like it, too, but it is less "natural." This is making me want to clean up my scraggly brows. Having bangs means I kind of forget about them for long periods.

It was a really fun shoot. My former traveling music school student did it. He was a student in the community college's photography classes, but has since (just now!) moved on to the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara to further his studies. There are some prettier and more conventional shots in the batch, but we did also really have fun. It was the first time he'd earned money doing photography and afterward he posted on fb that he'd enjoyed the session and it made him start to think maybe he could do this as a career.

Yes! I got all concentrated on the technical angles and things I forgot how gorgeous the forest is. I love the fuck you shot! And I love where the curve of your brows fall in that one. I'd use a pencil to make the line on the outside edge just a bit denser and longer, and leave the peak and the curve underneath as it is.

I watched E's swim meet. He did really well and in one event he was one of the younger swimmers.
I'm also realizing how dysfunctional my family is.
And if I could get health ~ma for my Dad. He had tests run on his thyroid and there is a growth that may or may not be cancer. Also he's been falling asleep a lot during the day and we are encouraging him to have a sleep study but he doesn't see the need. The big fear is that he'll fall asleep at the wheel.
