[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much health~ma for your dad, askye. If he's having thyroid problems, fixing them might help the day sleeping.

Thrive to spite them

I hope so but we're eaiting to find out.

I procrastinated and lost the sticky note with the starter user name password for my new bank. I had it in my wallet but either it fell out or I tossed it forgetting what it was. I'm going to go look in the car. Otherwise I have to go to the bank on Monday and ask for that again. I feel stupid.

Our wings are not tired.

Health~ma for your dad, askye.

I have to share a parenting win moment, since I share so many of the fail moments.

My #2 son played designated driver for us going to my SIL's birthday party. The overwhelming majority of the party attendees were 40 somethings since she was celebrating her 40th and it was mostly her friends. My BIL was sitting with me and we were observing Bobby interact with the crowd. Hugs for the many people he already knew, then he was hanging out with a couple twice his age talking for quite a long time, then he took off with a group of the kids because one of the kids was 16 and learning to drive stick and Bobby's car is manual. It was lovely to see him so completely comfortable and sociable with youngsters, strangers, older adults, effortlessly moving from group to group. Everyone loves him. Really made me feel good.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Askye, ~ma for your dad.

Laura, that's wonderful.

ltc is 5 months old today! How is time moving so fast?

I have managed to get beans in the crock pot today, and, in theory they will get turned into chili for tonight's dinner. I'm still terrible about getting things done that don't directly involve ltc. I also have friends coming by at noonish, and they're bringing lunch.

Well done mama!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Lots of ~ma, askye.

I can attest that Bobby is very polite and funny.

You guys, I'm texting with a guy from Tinder who asked for my number using Oz dialogue from Buffy. He's cute and geeky and an electrician and acts on the side and we're having dinner tomorrow. Can I have some not-an-asshole~ma? Been over a year since I even went on a date.

Oz dialogue is a very encouraging sign.

You know when he tells Willow he's going to ask her out? That part. And we did the whole bit.

sj, glad things are going well today.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I -- for real -- just clapped my hands and squeed a little bit. Very-good-date-not-an-asshole~ma sent your way.
