[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

No strong opinion on the brows, Liese. They look good to me but I can't recall your previous brows so not sure how they are changing the shape of your face. But I can say you are so beautiful Liese, you somehow have the ability to capture in photos a kind of spiritual grace that you just carry around with you in life.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Love, love, LOVE my Teva sandals! They're the best, well, tied with my awesome Skechers sporty sandals. I resisted paying for the good ones too - but they absolutely do pay for themselves in comfort!

Liese, my work computer refuses to let me see your pic, but I feel confident that you look lovely ('cuz I've never seen you look less than lovely).

Our wings are not tired.

Now I am going to have to get some Teva sandals too. My toes require freedom, but the rest of my feet require cushion from the tiles.

eta: I have brow envy. I have no brows because they are too blond to be seen and when they are enhanced it looks shocking to me. Hence, bangs. Also, what Burrell said so well about the beauty of Liese.

so how we feeling about this, makeup people?

I love it!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hmm, well, lessee...2013 brows: [link] Which is more extreme than the change I just made, obviously, but I had to go a bit back to get a similar angle.

Oh no, wait, I have a more recent one, here: [link] That's from September.

So here's the current, again, just so it's all in one post: [link] I moved the arch, basically, and changed the overall shape. And then I widened the space between and brought both ends in a little shorter so it was less scraggly. I dunno about all this stuff!

And anyway aww, thanks for the compliments, peeps.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Strong brow game, Liese! Looks sophisticated but not model-clone, still individual and You.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I like the arch!

Okay, big difference there. I like the new shape you have here. Bit of drama, even with very simple make up, so that's nice. I also like the one in the Sept 2015 pic, which looks like it may be closer to your natural line, just cleaner.

I am the lazy brow gal. I like my natural line so usually all I do is clean it up a bit, if that.

The one thing that drives me nuts about my brows is that they wing up at the ends. Like a Vulcan. I trim them and try to brush them into shape and it really never works. Makes me nuts.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ok, yeah, that's all good feedback.

And yeah, mine require more than just cleaning it up! I used to refuse to do anything with them at all on race-based beauty standards premises, but also because it was the 90's and I would have had to do a ridiculous amount of plucking to get even close to what people were doing, whereupon it looked completely unnatural on me. I only started recently (well, you can see, with the dates of the photos) since the thicker "natural" brow was a more achievable target.

I know what you mean, meara, it's shaping the ends of mine that's causing all this strife! Ha! I pulled them in here, which I think is ok, but I'll have to live with it a while and see. I may split the difference.

Then next up I'll have to figure out my go-to glasses-friendly eyeshadow. These new glasses (super similar but still) are better, but I still have to figure out a balance where my eye stuff is visible within the context of the glasses but not overdone. I'm content with my contouring right now, although I'll have to tweak it a little for the new brows.
