I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

erika, I have not heard of deleting comments from a quarrel as some standard thing. I think the only reason I would delete my own comments were if I had really, truly crossed a line that was so bad that a genuine apology would not be sufficient. Otherwise I'd leave it in place followed by my apology. I dunno what to make of your situation with this guy and this discussion.

askye, I hope you can make that work for you.

As for Crocs, I love 'em. I adore the cute sandal types, but unfortunately they do not fit my wide feet. So for me it is the standard Crocs clogs or nothing. The Mario Batali Signature Bistro style work Crocs are sooooo supportive. And I can verify that the non-slip bottoms, are indeed very non-slip. I wear them as inside shoes at the houses I work at. When I first started working here, new carpeting was being installed at all my houses, so they were requesting us to take our shoes off. I can't do no shoes, so I went with bringing inside shoes.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have that first pair, though I've about worn them through now.

brillig

I love Crocs as well, but I have wide half-size feet, and Crocs seems to have a grudge against half-sizes and wide feet.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I had to buy emergency shoes in NOLA after walking my toes raw, and all there were were these Teva thongs for like $25.

I live in $1 Old Navy thongs, and these...OMG. Initially, I was surly about paying the price, but those shoes have already paid for themselves twice over. So much better.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So I did some brow reshaping, which is always fraught for me, so how we feeling about this, makeup people? [link]

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

No strong opinion on the brows, Liese. They look good to me but I can't recall your previous brows so not sure how they are changing the shape of your face. But I can say you are so beautiful Liese, you somehow have the ability to capture in photos a kind of spiritual grace that you just carry around with you in life.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Love, love, LOVE my Teva sandals! They're the best, well, tied with my awesome Skechers sporty sandals. I resisted paying for the good ones too - but they absolutely do pay for themselves in comfort!

Liese, my work computer refuses to let me see your pic, but I feel confident that you look lovely ('cuz I've never seen you look less than lovely).

Our wings are not tired.

Now I am going to have to get some Teva sandals too. My toes require freedom, but the rest of my feet require cushion from the tiles.

eta: I have brow envy. I have no brows because they are too blond to be seen and when they are enhanced it looks shocking to me. Hence, bangs. Also, what Burrell said so well about the beauty of Liese.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hmm, well, lessee...2013 brows: [link] Which is more extreme than the change I just made, obviously, but I had to go a bit back to get a similar angle.

Oh no, wait, I have a more recent one, here: [link] That's from September.

So here's the current, again, just so it's all in one post: [link] I moved the arch, basically, and changed the overall shape. And then I widened the space between and brought both ends in a little shorter so it was less scraggly. I dunno about all this stuff!

And anyway aww, thanks for the compliments, peeps.
