I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

"I don't want to discuss anything until I get an apology".

What is he, 12?

In this part of the world, giving a teenager a rifle is fairly common. The problem, as you've said, is that he cares nothing about your opinion and values and is doing an end-run around you and making you the bad guy. It's like buying him a spring break trip to Cancun without talking to you about it.

I'm not scared of guns per se, but no one should ever go shooting or hunting with someone whose judgment is suspect.

Considering how much you hate him, it does take a perverse kind of guts to put a gun in your house.

I love you, girl.

Ginger is wise. I appreciate the support. The communication ball is in his court which means nothing will happen. I should prob try to talk with K-Bug but I'm just not up to it right now. And thanks to everyone who wants to stuff some enlightenment into her head. Please don't.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Suzi,

the communication ball is in his court until he does another passive aggressive act. Mark my words, he will do something else. And probably soon.

I understand that. I also think this contributes to a lot of preventable injuries. And I'll stop that line of discussion because I'm not interested in offending.

Our wings are not tired

Is there a local gun range or gun club that provides on site firearm lockup? This way you can secure the gun offsite, it can be available for shooting at the shooting range, and not be in your house. It also allows you to be back in control of firearms being in your house on your terms, without completely confiscating the weapon.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

ND has a very good suggestion. In your place, I'd follow up on that. It is a way of exerting control without a showdown with the bf (Okay, I backspaced over the nomenclature three times before typing those two letters. Admire my restraint).
