I'm hesitant to do that because I really need this therapy right now and having someone who comes to the house is easiest at the moment. I guess I'll give it one more week and see if he can pull it together. Honestly, chronic lateness has been a problem with every therapist I have ever seen. Usually when I go to them I end up starting to be late for appointments because I get so annoyed that they're making me wait, and then they get mad that I'm late and it becomes a big issue.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, that's tough.
In this case I at least can't be late because I live here.
Late people make me kind of crazy, but my best friend, and DH's whole family are always late so I am trying to deal with it better. Hope he was adequately apologetic at least!!
So you know that thing where you search on the internet for someone from long long ago. I remembered the real name of the man who was Bob's best man at my first wedding. He called himself Rodney, but his real name was Henry Smith Hamilton III. Was a funny guy from Chestnut Hill near Philly and kept his Wharton diploma on the bathroom wall. He was a DJ at the radio station where DH#1 and I worked back in 1972.
After we divorced Rodney kept in touch Bob, but they had lost touch quite a number of years ago. They actually had a falling out, but that is another story.
So I do the search thing and find that he committed suicide a day or two after the 2012 election after having threatened to do so if Obama won. Just stunned. He was such a sweet gentle hippy boy with red hair half way down his back when we were friends. He always had depression and anxiety issues, but killing yourself over Obama being elected. So sad.
It may be a while before I search for old friends again.
I guess I'll give it one more week and see if he can pull it together.
I'd mention it to him, though, so he knows he has to get his act together. And I'd reference the expectation that the patient be on time OR ELSE. He is being incredibly rude.
What lisah said. Not acceptable. If you aren't allowed to be late, he isn't either.
You're right. I'll say something. I found a dress at Talbots to wear to the baby shower. It's a red cotton shirt dress, which buttons down the front so it should work for feeding ltc. Best part was it was on sale for $40. I grabbed another dress too that won't work for breastfeeding but it fit perfect and for $20, I couldn't resist it.
Strong shopping, sj!
Oh that's really pretty.
