Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I made it back to PA. Finally. After stopping a few times because water was leaking into my car. I'm going to call the service place on Monday, since I have no idea why the water was leaking in. By the way, if you ever need to clean up several inches of water from the floor of your car, using only materials available at a gas station, the answer is diapers.

Good to know. Sorry about the leak.

Why didn't I insist we go out this year for Father's Day? I'm miserable, I'm pretty sure I'm making TCG miserable, and I find I have zero fucks to give wrt the state of the house or whether or not we have enough food.

A man with a pregnant wife on Father's Day should make an effort to be extra nice to the person who's helping him become a father.

Oh, he's wonderful, and he's actually doing most of the work. I didn't mean to imply otherwise, but I can be pretty horrible to live with at times and this is definitely one of those times.

I'm pretty sure the situation will resolve itself in a couple of more months.

But I have infinite sympathy for anyone being well along in pregnancy during high summer.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

For what it is worth, I've heard several people assert that whether back office stuff is well taken care of is one of the key predictors of success or failure of a political movement. No peer reviewed research on this, just anecdata.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yeah, word from some people I know is that the NC Dem's organization was a total fustercluck last cycle, and it totally showed in the results.

I know it's important, just not likely to be an exciting chapter in the memoirs--unless I really am the world's oldest intern, that is.
