Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

I can be pretty horrible to live with at times and this is definitely one of those times.

I'm pretty sure the situation will resolve itself in a couple of more months.

But I have infinite sympathy for anyone being well along in pregnancy during high summer.

So am I. 2 more months ans there will be a baby, antidepressants, and milkshakes.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

For what it is worth, I've heard several people assert that whether back office stuff is well taken care of is one of the key predictors of success or failure of a political movement. No peer reviewed research on this, just anecdata.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yeah, word from some people I know is that the NC Dem's organization was a total fustercluck last cycle, and it totally showed in the results.

I know it's important, just not likely to be an exciting chapter in the memoirs--unless I really am the world's oldest intern, that is.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Remember what a clusterfailure Romney's back office stuff turned out to be? Over and over?

Ok, dad gets an upgrade to "underperforming" as opposed to TOTAL FUCKO. So there's that. Still, we're probably not "getting together really soon."

Father's Day brunch was quite a success despite how last minute the clean up was. All of TCG's food was fantastic. I'm not sure he ever needs for me to cook again. Also, good is we have a reasonable amount of food to get us through the next few days without needing to do much.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'd expected that my body would be protesting today because of all the driving I've been doing the past few days. I didn't expect that the most painful joint, more so than my hips or knees or ankle, would be one of the joints in my finger. No idea why that's happening.

Things to do tomorrow: call doctor for more pain meds, call movers to get estimates, call Toyota to make appointment to find out why rain is inside my car.
