Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Update: Went for a bit of a walk on my break and when I came back the cake finally started to sound like a good idea. So far, it's yummy. Maybe today's on an upswing (knock wood).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Toddson has moved us to Minkoski 5-way, which may actually present a challenge to general relativity.

See, this is why I hang out with you guys.

eta that was something I meant to post in Natter

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Epic, I'm glad your day seems to be improving.

I bought cards, went to the butcher, and then picked up my computer (which was ready after all!). The market and the liquor store as well as the rest of the clean up are going to have to wait until either later tonight with TCG or tomorrow. Too tired.

I needed to go to the grocery store, but now I'm too tired. Surely soon my desire for milk and cheese will overcome my sloth.

In sort-of Cincinnati news, for a while there my local Safeway was carrying Graeter's ice cream (am I spelling that right?). Limited selection - vanilla, vanilla with chocolate chips/chunks, chocolate, but still ...

My Safeway does not carry it, but some of the QFC's (aka Kroger) around here do...

Sloth overcome, I have groceried. Am now exhausted. I am sick of being this constantly-exhausted person. Even my sister said to me today, that I'm losing my life, I've lost part of myself. (She's not the most tactful human. shrug This is a known quantity.) I want me back.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Why have I not been informed of this VERY IMPORTANT FACT previously? I blame all of you. [gives Board a stern look]

Trying to ignore this.

Gronk. We finished the liquor store and market errands last night but didn't get in until after 10. So much to do today. I'm sure my motivation is around here somewhere.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Yeah, groceries is definitely on my list for today. Even though I went to Whole Paycheck in the week and spent $70, all I came home with was a lot of cheese and some prepared deli foods. All very good, mind you, but the sobriquet is well-earned.

Because I'm sure the chocolate coating is of an inferior type, and could be so much more delicious if not commercially made? Or made in somewhere other than America where they try to pawn off inferior chocolate on us? That is my feeling.
