Steph, in the summer, please tell Tim about the wonder and glory of thin cotton sarongs.
He has many long flowy hippie skirts, which he generally wears with a cami or a little t-shirt. He is truly a girl for all seasons. (He bought skinny jeans -- or maybe jeggings; I'm not 100% sure -- and they look killer with girl tops and shoes. All the hipster boys wear skinny jeans with their Chucks and ironic t-shirts, so I asked him to put on a t-shirt and his Chucks, and it was APPALLING. Girl clothes FTW.)
I am wearing a green sarong and an ugly grandpa cardie right now AIFG!
I'm still in my nightshirt because it's Saturday and literally the first weekend since mid-April that we haven't been booked solid with travel/family stuff/crazy 5Ks/etc., so I am lounging around the house with iced coffee in my nightshirt.
Nail polish question: what's a good base coat under OPI polish? I'm going to Ulta today.
I'm so sorry, smonster. I wish I had something helpful to add.
I need to get myself to Old Navy to get some thin cotton maternity things so I can survive the rest of this summer.
Why do I continue to torture myself with food magazines and food TV while I'm on such a restrictive diet?
Steph, Tim looks great! I'm so happy he shared them with the Buffista collective.
smonster, I have no advice, but I have many many hugs for you.
sj, my mom bought me 3 maternity dresses at Old Navy that are lightweight and SO COMFY. So comfy. (I have to layer them, because summer seems to have fully arrived in SF with all its 60 degree glory.)
Dan looks AMAZING in skinny jeans. He has one pair of jeans, and two pair of cords and he totally has the super skinny build for them. I do NOT. And I see girls in skinny jeans that do not work for them ATALL and I just want to hug them and hand them a nice pair of flattering boot-cut jeans.

This is why I stick to boot-cut jeans.
sj, I also buy nighties a Target and wear them as dresses. (I mean, not negligees, but cotton or microfiber jobbies.)

We already had several 90 degree days in May, and I was not prepared. And even when it is 60, I'm running hot.

I haven't found much at Target at my current size.
Here are the two that I have that might work for you (the other one is floor length on me in bare feet): [link] [link] Seriously comfy. (Also in black, because I'm not about to start wearing pastels.)
I'd prefer to find something 3/4 length that would fit me closer to full length, because I hate my braces showing.
