Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

Everyone is too busy reading them right now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm just curious what you need to know from the Tertris one before reading the Clippy one.

Maybe she thought she'd never love again after the Tetris blocks, but Clippy showed her the way?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's building up the whole arc. I mean, I suppose you could skip the whole introduction to the character, but I feel it really adds to the impact when you realize she's the Chosen One to fight Cortana.

I think. I mean, story 3 isn't out yet. But that's where it seems to be going.

OOO!

MAYBE THERE WILL BE SOME VIBRATING PHONE ANGRY FEMSLASH!

Probably not. Whipped by Windows Phone isn't exactly going to fly off the virtual shelves.

BUT I COULD SEE IF IT COULD BE A YULETIDE FANDOM!!!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Man, my porn habits killed the thread.

I am going to repeat this again: I DO NOT WANT DRAMATIC READINGS OF THESE. NO. STOP OFFERING.

YES, YOU DO. YOU JUST DO NOT KNOW IT YET.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Plei, I would say you can't shock us anymore, but I would then be afraid you'd try.

Some of you may remember the Irish girl who came to Utah a few years ago to meet up with a friend of ours that she knew online. They had a weird dom/sub relationship, and they eventually got married and had a kid. Hubby and I adopted her, he and her bonded wonderfully, and we (I at least) never let it show that we thought she'd been an idiot to leave her home and come to tie herself to a man who (in my opinion) is a loser and general idiot.

She went back to Ireland when her mother got sick (she died a few months ago), and eventually our (Hubby's) friend went to join her. He kept making noise about taking them back to Arizona, where he had family and a place in a pyramid-scheme-shilling, right-wing community (I don't like him). Hubby and I were afraid he'd try to steal their son and sneak him back to the states. She and Hubby would talk to each other until he got too sick.

I just pinged her on FB to see how she's doing, and she told me she's divorcing Idiot and staying in Ireland. Praise be, I was so afraid she'd end up with half a dozen kids off Idiot. So he can come back to the states and she can stay in the land of her birth with her family. I feel a little bad for being so happy at a divorce, but no one I like has any business being married to a man who thinks going off the grid in the Sonoran Desert with a courtyard full of lifestock is a good thing.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm glad things are working out better than you expected for your friend, Connie.

At least in Ireland she's less likely to go into her kitchen and find people who have snuck across the Mexican border rooting through her fridge.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Does anyone else want to watch the vid series of Plei's dramatic readings of desktop assistant porn, with Jilli's MST3K snarky commentary?
