So Blinc mascara is totally NOT tear-proof. Maybe a few errant tears, but not full on sobbing. I definitely never touched my face, but got home to cheeks peppered with little tubes of mascara.
In related news: dating continues to suck. I'd rather be single. At least I have the internet. And netflix. And a cat who wants nothing more than to headbutt me with aggressive purring.
FFS, and now the cat just scratched my chest. I'm literally bleeding from my breast. Apparently that's what i get for showing a little cleavage. (Ok, not really, he scratched me through my shirt. But still. I feel like i'm getting some sort of cosmic slap-down for having sehksuooal inclinations.)
Uh oh. You've got a fundie cat.
I am also superstitious about showers before the baby is born, I thought I was crazy. I have so many posts I want to "like" since sj made her awesome announcement, though!
Stupid people who aren't dating erin_o right.
seriously, i don't need full on emotional bipolar on the second date. At least i only wasted two evenings on him. sigh.
edited for concision
OMG. and now he's messaging me again. First a long, florid apology. then "why aren't you upset with me" when i thanked him for the apology and wished him the best. What, i'm supposed to stomp my feet and pitch a fit via email? Over someone i barely know? I should really go to bed now and stop using up further mental process on this.
Better luck next time, erin_o. I'm convinced not all men suck, I've just never met them. So, I live with my BFF and we talk dirty to each other. My daughter laughs and my brother freaks out.
Steph, thank you for that link. I registered for eShakti and now have a $30 GC to spend. I love the look of all the dresses I clicked on and the fact you can customize! Genius.

My blue and white polka-dotted dress that I wore in the pinup photos is from there, and I can say that the measurements are true. And a lot of their dresses have pockets, which is THE BEST.

That's the Jewish tradition. Lots of people don't even have any baby stuff in the house until the baby is born -- most stores that sell baby stuff in places with a decent-sized Jewish population will have a program where you can buy all the stuff you need and they'll keep it at the store, then you call them after the baby is born and they'll deliver it.
