I would say "They have shops in Denmark", but I fear many of your items would be harder to reasonably substitute.
I have an outfit that can be folded verrrrrry small and put in my carry-on, because I am paranoid.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We have also made it clear to Luna that we couldn't care less who she loves. Which has made things interesting already. She decided over the summer that she would be marrying one of her best friends, a girl whose family is Muslim and not exactly openminded. We told her that was fine, expecting her to forget about it by the time school started. She didn't, and the first day proudly announced to her friend that she'd been chosen for the envious position of "person I will marry." The friend was horrified and told her every day for a week that girls could not marry girls. Every day she'd come home and tell us that, and every day we'd explain that while girls marrying girls was not ok in her friend's family because of their religion, it is in fact legal in our country and perfectly acceptable in our family. The whole thing is a bit complicated for a four year old, I think. I noticed that recently she has only crowned boys with the "person I will marry" title. Which I suspect is because of peer pressure. Grrrr.
Yeah, maybe Owen is just too young, but it's good not to treat him like that's weird if it's so...it took me a long time, too. To crush on people, I mean.(although I do sort of think BFF feelings do have an erotic element, looking back now. So no wonder Calla's daughter feels confused.) I wish I could see Copenhagen--that's where my great-grandparents were from.
smonster, congrats on new glasses and contacts! Looking forward to seeing you in those frames!
Ugh, I feel like hammered crap this morning. And I think the chicken salad I ate for breakfast had gone off, because now I'm nauseous.
[personal info edited out]
Also slightly nauseated as my brain adjusts back to contacts and a new prescription
That's the WORST. My head hates me for at least 2 days after new glasses.
Steph, that is so lovely! I'm glad she has you and Tim to talk to.
Now that my grandfather is dead, I'm considering coming out to my mom's side of the family mostly because I want to be visible and an ally for anyone who might need it. One cousin knows (total Buffista spirit baby) and she was like, super psyched to have a queer cousin. It was cute.
Steph, that is awesome.
Like Buffista Island won't be TROPICAL?!
It can't be TOO hot ALL the time. And snow is fun. We can have a nice snow capped mountain and little cabins up there for sledding and skiing and General winter wonderland purposes.
I despise cleaning the cat box and litter that surrounds it. My surprisingly effective solution has been a top-entry box lined with a garbage bag and a thinnish depth of litter. There is a layer of baking soda between bag and box so if there are any breeches it absorbs. She doesn't track out any litter and Every week I chuck the bag and change the soda if needed. No smell, no tracking, no scooping... it's pretty much glorious.
Steph, you are awesome and your niece is brave, and lucky to have you to talk to.
