Typo Boy, people like that can be very stubborn, not contacting her at all seems like a good idea.
The waitress at lunch today tried to take my plate away three times while I was still eating. She is very lucky she didn't get stabbed in the hand with a fork.

That sort of things gets a chat with the manager about the impression of being hustled out of the place.
The manager and everyone else in the place was in the back room preparing for a big party to arrive, which is probably why we were being rushed, but I was still not pleased.
It's 59F and pouring rain here. I have a hummingbird feeder on my covered porch, kinda protected from the wind and rain. There's a hummingbird just sort of hanging out on it, all fluffed up and taking occasional sips, like someone lingering over a cup of coffee in a diner on a crappy day. It's a good day to have home baked pumpkin bread and a cat on my lap.
Calli, that's a lovely image.
Typo, lots of ~ma for your ma.
I dropped off books at the circulation desk today, that I know were two weeks late, on my way downstairs to volunteer. As I was leaving, I went back on my way out to pay my fines and was told there were no fines on my account. Perks of volunteering, maybe? No one actually said they deleted the fines.
Are you PREPARED?
Tell me I am NOT the only one who went to this place, right?
I felt like a real employee today, taking cursing out of an e-mail so my supervisor wouldn't see it.(Not at him. we're cool. I just decided to maybe not be *that* irrepressible, in case he may want to hire me sometime.)
