Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The manager and everyone else in the place was in the back room preparing for a big party to arrive, which is probably why we were being rushed, but I was still not pleased.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It's 59F and pouring rain here. I have a hummingbird feeder on my covered porch, kinda protected from the wind and rain. There's a hummingbird just sort of hanging out on it, all fluffed up and taking occasional sips, like someone lingering over a cup of coffee in a diner on a crappy day. It's a good day to have home baked pumpkin bread and a cat on my lap.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Calli, that's a lovely image.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Typo, lots of ~ma for your ma.

I dropped off books at the circulation desk today, that I know were two weeks late, on my way downstairs to volunteer. As I was leaving, I went back on my way out to pay my fines and was told there were no fines on my account. Perks of volunteering, maybe? No one actually said they deleted the fines.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Are you PREPARED?

Tell me I am NOT the only one who went to this place, right?

Always Anti-fascist!

I felt like a real employee today, taking cursing out of an e-mail so my supervisor wouldn't see it.(Not at him. we're cool. I just decided to maybe not be *that* irrepressible, in case he may want to hire me sometime.)

Compassionately intolerant

Grumbleboowhine.

I have a cold. First one since I can't remember. Feel like ass.

I think it is part of the process of changing habits with the Whole Life Challenge. I've lost 12.5lbs in the last 11 days.

It's shocking how cutting out wheat, corn, processed foods and sugar has made my body sigh a huge sigh of relief.

I am, by no means, starving myself. In fact, I'm having a greater experience of being 'full' now than when I was eating crap.

Who knows. Maybe I would have gotten the cold anyway. Lots of folks have come into my home bearing germs over the last week. But, it is kind of disappointing that, just when I started feeling really good, I'm felled. Feh.

I am afraid I'm getting a cold too. Am downing EmergenC and hoping it'll help. I have dancing weekend plans this weekend! No time for sick!

Also annoying: I placed an order for a new phone online last week. Apparently it didn't actually happen, so now I have to make another one??
