[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think I have earned one of these cupcakes I bought.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I think you are correct.

Good luck with the house stuff, Laura.

The real estate market is so dynamic in this neighborhood...and the agents are so, um...attentive...you are likely to find signs saying, "May go on sale if I badger them enough...just ask me how!"

The add-ons are many...coming soon, contract pending, going going gone, You missed it! Price reduced, relisted, ETC.

Take two. I think you earned them both.

Laura, good luck with the house stuff. It's very stressful. Please take care of yourself.

brillig

Got an email today from the BYU Art Gallery saying an exhibit Hubby and I had attended last year was in its last weeks. I remembered we'd wanted to go back to that a few times when it was less crowded, and I wondered why we hadn't or checked for new exhibits, then I remembered Hubby didn't know he had cancer then and wasn't systematically destroying his immune system, so we could go out in crowds more. And I went down the rabbit hole of exhibits we might not go to again, and, well . . .

Okay, so tomorrow is my birthday, not a fun number and no big deal.

HOWEVER, apparently there is something called "AwesomeCon." Which, one can only assume is, dare I say it, awesome.

It's actually within walking distance if the weather is nice.

I've never been to a con. Somehow, the prospect makes me nervous, like I'll never be cool enough, and practical considerations such as GERMS.

I'm torn. Seriously torn.

Oh Connie. What a terrible rabbit hole to be in.

Whatever virtual comfort would be acceptable, I'm sending it.

My friend who just had an esophageal tumor removed and a huge portion of his digestive tract resectioned has had those moments recently too.

I feel so impotent in offering good wishes. That doesn't seem enough.

All is well that ends in pizza.

For your mirth, an M&M's knockoff:

Laura,

I would have designed something from their templates, but my work computer lacks a plug - in.
