I just spent thirty seconds staring at a screen, utterly baffled because it told me I had just done what I was trying to do. Which I had. I think it is dinnerbreak time, because I clearly can no longer brane.

so I logged off today due to workplace paranoia. A woman in our department who has been with the company for 13 years was fired and walked out today. No reason. They are changing the position. That is all we were told. She was brought a box and walked out. ISTG. Because of weirdness with my boss and the way he is wording things in email this week, I am convinced I will be fired next week.
Oh yeah, another employee in our dept who works out of another state was fired last week after giving a presentation on one of his projects. They had just had an annual meeting they have and when he was done they let him go and had him turn over his equipment. He had no idea either.
So yeah. I am going to be sending out resumes this weekend. Even if I don't get fired I don't wanna stay there under this VP.
Good god, msbelle. That sounds awful.
Sounds awful..and familiar. If you ave a nagging feeling things are off, trust your gut.
Good lord, msbelle.
Good luck Conseula!
Seriously--be prepared.
Hey, do you remember my cannibal co-worker? I actually accused him of being ready to kill and eat his colleagues because he showed me the two (LARGE, SERRATED) knives he carries to work every day. Along with 250 feet of 550lb rope, fuel, monocular, masses of laptops and storage and solar-powered USB batteries....
OMFG, I'm going to be killed and eaten first, I know it. I mean, I showed him *my* knife, but it's so little in comparison!
the two (LARGE, SERRATED) knives he carries to work every day. Along with 250 feet of 550lb rope, fuel, monocular, masses of laptops and storage and solar-powered USB batteries
Seriously?!
Oh jeez, msbelle -- good luck!
Does that guy take all that stuff out of his car??
it's so little in comparison!
It’s not the size, it’s the number of hours of combat training.
250 feet of 550lb rope, fuel, monocular, masses of laptops and storage and solar-powered USB batteries
Does he expect to get no warning of the Zombie Apocalypse?
Also, I guess we can assume he doesn't take public transit to work...
