Because books.

If I do a Google image search with safesearch off for gay hand job I get this, and if I search for gay "hand job" I get this.

I love the one of John Travolta waving.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Also, my results included this, which is not NSFW, but not safe for people.

That made me laugh.

Speaking of what you get for your money--I do have my one-meat-splurge-per-week, but even with Gelson's 50% off sale of some of their steak, I wouldn't be dropping that kind of money on a couple pieces. How good (and I like steak a lot) can a $50/lb cut be, and is my palate cultured enough to tell it from the $25/lb cut?

Beef is crazy expensive lately. There was some issue this year, apparently. I wanted a pot roast last week, and it was almost $6/pound. I ended up getting a nice roast because it was on sale. (which incidentally, I turned some of the leftovers into roast beef hash this morning)

Unrelated to just about everything: If I do a Google image search with safesearch off for gay hand job I get this,

Oddly, the fourth pic in this link is a picture of my friend Mike, who passed away from cancer this week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Liese, my point about those pictures is that there is no sex in them whatsoever. One of them does seem to have a couple pictures which upon examination qualify as gay, but despite having Safe Search off, Google is still protecting my sensibilities.

I will not tell you what google.co.uk or google.com.jm show for either of those searches--you are free to fill your cache with not particularly gay but very very cockful pictures. Clearly foreigners do not deserve the level of protections Americans take for granted.

I'm assuming this is somehow Constitution-related.

Why I'm looking for gay hand jobs is my own little secret. But it's annoying to have to take a step further than turning off Safe Search to get it.

Vortex--that is...yeah, I have no idea what those results are actually representing, but I sure didn't expect that. I'm sorry!

My sister seems to be on a youtube standup binge--she's now a Doug Stanhope fan, and wants me to go to one of his shows. She gave me five minutes on nationalism to convince me: [link] I like his anger. Very appealing.

There was some issue this year, apparently.

Drought, so corn crops failed, so feed for the cows was expensive, so they sold all the cows and now there's not much supply left.

Oh, no worries, it's just weird. He would have been amused.

Yes, but what it might be instead, there is no limit to the possibilities. The mind boggles.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm assuming this is somehow Constitution-related.

I'm pretty sure we don't need the Constitution any more, now that companies can take care of us?

I mean, except for the second half of the second amendment, obviously.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Obviously.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I never regret the many pennies I plunked down for really nice sheets. Minimum 400 thread count, Egyptian cotton. 2 sets of those plus a super amazing no pilling fleece-like (but not staticky-zappy) microfiber set for cold weather. I spend minimum 9 hrs in those sheets every night and if I can't indulge myself in bed...well...perhaps I shouldn't finish that sentence because it's gonna end up sounding really dirty. If i can find them on clearance or mark down, excellent. But still worth the expense. Mmmmm, so looking forward to bed!!!
