Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Washing machine woes! I should probably clean our filter, huh?

Oh, right, your niece is starting her internship, huh? It's double too bad we're not doing NAMM this year!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Why does my phone think it's 2:56?

Had you gathered all the shoppers in the stores today, they would have resembled a bruise. I expect that to continue until....what, Superbowl? Is that the next game? Or is there another before it?

I can't imagine dealing with no washer and kids and, well, life. When my bro&SIL's died, my mom found out when she called and SIL just burst into tears (didn't help they all had a stomach bug and/or barfing migraines.) So mom did the research and bought one to be picked up that day at a store near them. Unsurprisingly, it is the same one I have now- mom also did all the research and told me what to get.

Also unsurprising, my SIL has stated that if she ever leaves/has to kill my brother, she's keeping us.

So, ION, I got some grain-free fatass catfood today. I am on a mission to unfat Loki.

He and Pumpkin were so excited, as always, when I went up this evening to pour out their allotment. I mixed half old/new. The Pumk was fairly game, though tenative. But the look of injury Loki gave me, OMG. He sniffed, looked confused, took a bit, dropped it on the floor. Batted it. Tried again. Looked at me so pleadingly and hurt, buffeted my ankles, crying.

DAMNIT, IT'S BLUE BUFFALO $$$ SHIT AND ALL FULL OF MEAT AND FOR FUCKING LYNXES OR SOME SHIT, YOU WILL EAT IT AND LIKE IT.

I think shit is about to get real.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hate to say this, but neither of my cats would touch Blue Buffalo

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Loki is sad and wants his carbs.

I like that I can be reassured by people here. I culled so much when I moved and donated all of that. The few things I brought down, I really need to get to their new happy homes. For cash. Well, PayPal.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I expect that to continue until....what, Superbowl? Is that the next game? Or is there another before it?

AFC championship game, then the Super Bowl.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha ha! Years ago, I got Homer some diet cat food, and he did lose weight, because he just didn't eat it. I figured he had so few pleasures in life, why take one away?

ION, is anyone watching the show that looks a lot like Revenge, but with a black woman doing the revenging for her childhood friend?

brillig

Our cats hated Blue Buffalo, too. You cannot force the kids to eat the healthy food.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

You and me both, Lokes.
