I think my cat has sleep apnea. He's laying on the other chair in my office, snoring through his stuffy nose, and occasionally he'll stop snoring. t checks cat OK, he just shifted position. But still, tbose breaks in the snoring are disconcerting. Poor kitty with a cold.

Random hivemind question -- what do you do with old pillows? I've bought new ones, so do I just throw the old ones out or can they be donated to a school for arts and crafts or something?
Vortex,
toss them unless you need them for pets.

Brenda, yes, there is a place ("Eltana") about 4 blocks from me that bills itself as a Montreal-style bagel place. They are wood-fired? And smaller than most American bagels? They're better than the weird bready things trader joes tries to pass off as bagels, but since they don't have flavors I like, I don't go often (until I forget they don't have flavors I like!)
I'd say come visit me and try it but I suspect going to actual Montreal would be closer for you!
Naturally. But wait, you have a Montreal bagel place??
I'm a little frowny at the idea of Montreal bagels in anything other than plain, poppyseed, or sesame, so SHE LIES. THEY LIE. ALL LIES.
I also have not caught up to Jamaica stuffing all sorts of weird things into patties (Okay, the lobster is decent--but the vegetable is vile, and why is *everything* curried? Outside of patties we only curry goat and chicken. Inside, Bob's your currying uncle...) so I'm not exactly a beacon of progress.
I need to decide whether I'm ducking out for essentials and delaying menu planning for Monday shopping, or I'm gonna get it over with now.
Problem is, I did a couple hours of work this morning, and I'm facing another overnight gig, so...don't wanna do nothing. Cereal and prescriptions it is, and then back to huddled in front of multiple screens.

But that was my point, ita! They don't do onion. They do what you mentioned above, plus an everything and a wheat.
Maybe onion bagels are not Montreal. But they are Jewish. As are Onion bagels. Onion and Garlic bagels were on offer at Kantors in the 60s. So not a not an "eat a muffin, Whitey" thing.
I went out and walked for four miles in the park, and then I walked two miles to Target and back. Lunch was Naked Juice, so this omelette needs to cook faster because I am HUNGRY.
