Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

This is amazing:

God, I wish I had the disposable income to buy that for Tim. I would make him wear it every day.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Beau asked: "what is it for?"

I am not quite sure how to respond to his question.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am not quite sure how to respond to his question.

IT IS FOR YOU, MY LOVE. COME TO ME....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

IT IS FOR YOU, MY LOVE. COME TO ME....

Hee!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We should send the link to Lady Gaga; I bet she'd wear it in her next video.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Parenthood: So, apparently, no one is considering the possibility that Max could be gay. Actually, given the size of the cast, that there hasn't been a gay character (there hasn't, right?) is rather striking. I'm not sure that having the first one be the neurodiverse kid is a good plan, though.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Today sucked and we had to run stupid errands and there's not enough time left tonight to watch Justified. Bah. BAH.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I would really like this thousand dollar coat.

That is a nice coat.

Beau asked: "what is it for?" I am not quite sure how to respond to his question.

Bwah!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

There is a lot of excellent stuff on iTunes U (and sometimes other places like colleges' websites) that can be great for curious amateurs in a variety of fields.

I have a lot of things from iTunes U. I even have preferred lecturers. I like learning things.

When your house is burning down, you should brush your teeth

I think my first clue that I shouldn't have read that was that it involved cats and Hec thought it was great. That was really upsetting to read.

However, I think nutria are cute. I've only ever seen them in PDX and they were in a field, by a stream happily nomming. I also like deer and I know people consider them pests too. I just think they realized that gardens are delicious and it never occurred to them that we might want to keep that stuff for ourselves.

That is a nice coat.

I'm just keeping the tab open to look at it occasionally. I might be writing MarySue fic in my head with it too. Just drabbles though. Nothing to worry about.

My dvr didn't record Justified so I need to check OnDemand or see if it repeats before next week. I think it does. (Also, thanks, TimeWarner! I appreciate your crapping out on me when I am thinking of ditching cable. Keep up the good work through the start of racing season and Ima save me some money.)
