Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

There is a lot of excellent stuff on iTunes U (and sometimes other places like colleges' websites) that can be great for curious amateurs in a variety of fields.

I have a lot of things from iTunes U. I even have preferred lecturers. I like learning things.

When your house is burning down, you should brush your teeth

I think my first clue that I shouldn't have read that was that it involved cats and Hec thought it was great. That was really upsetting to read.

However, I think nutria are cute. I've only ever seen them in PDX and they were in a field, by a stream happily nomming. I also like deer and I know people consider them pests too. I just think they realized that gardens are delicious and it never occurred to them that we might want to keep that stuff for ourselves.

That is a nice coat.

I'm just keeping the tab open to look at it occasionally. I might be writing MarySue fic in my head with it too. Just drabbles though. Nothing to worry about.

My dvr didn't record Justified so I need to check OnDemand or see if it repeats before next week. I think it does. (Also, thanks, TimeWarner! I appreciate your crapping out on me when I am thinking of ditching cable. Keep up the good work through the start of racing season and Ima save me some money.)

Oh good! I saw something that looked new but I wanted to be sure. Life is hectic, I can wait to see it since I know I can grab it now. Mmmmmmmmmm, Raylan & Co.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Wait a second, what's a nutria?

It's an ROUS. They do exist.

Loki is fat. He's 2 lbs heavier than last year. Gotta try a grain-free fatass food on him AND Pumpkin and hope he doesn't go eat Devi's fatty kidney food. UHG.

Punishingly Intricate

That puppy is ridiculous! I haven't seen him in over a week. I'm sure he's huge now!

She called him narcoleptic and he promptly collapsed on the floor to nap just as they were ready to leave. HAH!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Robotic Spider Dress mixes insectoid creepiness with high fashion

Dutch designer Anouk Wipprecht collaborated with Austrian software developer Daniel Schatzmayr to create the Robotic Spider Dress, a garment featuring arachnoid legs that respond to nearby movement. Schatzmayr's obsession with hacking hexapods, along with Wipprecht's established ability to craft fashions that defy convention resulted in this nightmarish hybrid reminiscent of the Borg Queen's unsettling robot spine host body. As a Halloween costume, the Robotic Spider Dress would win every time, but as a piece of fashion, it might actually be an early look at practical robotics-enhanced garments.

I think this should be Jilli-safe....
