I know I mentioned earlier that a co-worker was giving me some venison. OMG...some? A huge cooler FULL. There are breakfast sausages, game salami, fillet mignon, bunches of steaks, and I've only dug through the top couple of layers.
I tried to offer him home made cookies or something in return (before I realized how much there was) and he said that it was thanks for all the help I've given him all year. I prepare one report a month for him...takes about 5-10 minutes a month.

DUDE. That's awesome! You won't need to buy meat all year!
I keep trying to get my coworkers in AK to send me salmon or crab, or give it to me when I'm there, but so far no luck.
On it's own, the word Neveah is kind of pretty, sounds exotic, and not too bizarre to spell. Knowing someone said "I know! Heaven spelled backwards and wrong!" makes it annoying.
I'm probably going to need advice on how to cook some of this stuff.
That's so great, Suzi!
Dennis Lehane is on our local public affairs show talking about his lost dog. It is the craziest thing. And, as he said, "Must be a really really slow news week."
