I heard that on NPR yesterday morning and wondered what your office atmosphere was like.
Well, our company-wide meeting with the CEO was cancelled at the last minute (because REASONS so no gossiping!), so right now I'm pretty happy to be working from the satellite office instead.
Skipping (yeah, again. At least we have internet access two days in a row!) because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Hil R's birthday.
Happy birthday, Hil! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
See the Gay Blade
The Gay Blade was a lawnmower, circa 1958.
Happy birthday, Hil!
So, here's the definition of a pop culture institution: I just saw a review of Skyfall. I don't know that I've ever watched a James Bond movie all the way through. And yet? I have the classic theme song in my head now.
Happy birthday Hil!
my parent company is in a state of total chaos and panic this week.
Whoa, I heard about that on BBC World News on NPR back in October when the focus was on Savile. Sounds like it exploded into a mess.
This morning has been chaotic, with me barely able to wake up and the kids lolling in bed and missing the bus, but DH has been the total hero. He got up and made me coffee so I could make the lunches, and he's the one driving the kids up the hill to school. Yay for DH!
Now I need to make another pot of coffee so I can grade.
Happy Birthday Hil!
Hey, more details about how Broadwell got caught with her computer stalking nonsense.
What I'm getting from this is that SNL should do a skit about Jill Kelley being the new Mango. Two different people became inappropriately obsessed with her in a short period of time.
And now so do I.
Ayup. It's competing for space with the Little Shop of Horrors soundtrack. (Speaking of which, if you are in any way a fan of the original stage show, you MUST check out the director's cut which restores the original ending. My heart just breaks for the puppeteers and other fx people involved in this film, I knew they'd been forced to change the ending at the last minute but I had no idea just how much material had to be thrown out.)
