This morning has been chaotic, with me barely able to wake up and the kids lolling in bed and missing the bus, but DH has been the total hero. He got up and made me coffee so I could make the lunches, and he's the one driving the kids up the hill to school. Yay for DH!
Now I need to make another pot of coffee so I can grade.

What I'm getting from this is that SNL should do a skit about Jill Kelley being the new Mango. Two different people became inappropriately obsessed with her in a short period of time.

Ayup. It's competing for space with the Little Shop of Horrors soundtrack. (Speaking of which, if you are in any way a fan of the original stage show, you MUST check out the director's cut which restores the original ending. My heart just breaks for the puppeteers and other fx people involved in this film, I knew they'd been forced to change the ending at the last minute but I had no idea just how much material had to be thrown out.)

Dog update: He did really well! Some complaining when he was first put in the crate, but he quieted down pretty quickly. Very, very pathetic whimpers, though.
I still didn't sleep as well as I could, because of nerves, and then I got up at 6:30 to take him out. I mostly convinced him that we could sleep a little more, so I put an old comforter out on the floor.
Mostly, though, he is very energetic and does not understand why I won't just spend my entire day walking him. He needs a yard and kids to run around with.
Animal Control opens at 9, so I'm heading out in about 20 minutes to drop him off.

Apparently Paula Broadwell's house in Charlotte is very close to that of Rielle Hunter's (John Edwards mistress and mother of his child). That makes the bus tour a little easier.
