Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Not coincidence. Marketing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yikes, that's too close to home, Jesse. What were you thinking, Jesse's Mom?

After Lucy, like four people gave me or recommended various dead dog books. A world of no.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Jesus...

I gave my dad the DVD of "Old Yeller" for Xmas, because he's on a collecting old favorite movies kick, and he handed it to me, and was like, "Why don't you take it home and show it to M first?"

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I was reading the end of Where The Red Fern Grows before class started in fifth grade, and a classmate came up to me to ask what was wrong (I was quietly crying and she was most likely looking to get in the middle of some juicy gossip). I told her why I was so sad and she looked at me like I was crazy. I wasn't even reading it for a class assignment.

So I'm definitely not going out. Ah well!

Well, now the mice won't be lonely.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm going to visit my folks with my niece (who leaves tomorrow morning), and then take her out for Asian or Mexican food, and then go to a party. Which I think is a good way to wrap up the year...
